About The Position

Community Access Services (CAS) is hiring a part-time Job Coach to provide one-on-one support to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a workplace setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to help someone succeed on the job, build confidence, and grow their independence. Due to specific requirements in the individual’s support plan, this position is open to male applicants only.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to become an approved company driver
  • Ability to pass a national background check
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in caregiving, coaching, customer service, or human services is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support in a community workplace
  • Assist with learning and completing job tasks
  • Encourage independence and confidence
  • Support positive communication with coworkers and supervisors
  • Help build workplace skills like time management and organization
  • Track progress and complete required documentation
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
  • Advocate for the individual’s goals and success
