Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills
- Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License that meets agency driver standards.
Nice To Haves
- One year of work experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities and/or in a vocational rehabilitation setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support participants in successfully preparing for and/or maintain competitive community integrated employment.
- Work with participants to develop work habits like punctuality, hygiene, productivity, etc. that are necessary to obtain and maintain employment.
- Models appropriate work behavior.
- Transports participants to and from work sites.
- Provides accurate information to the Program Supervisor and Case Manager about the participants progress.
- May perform job tasks along with participants.
- Uses resources to assist participants with employment/job exploration and discovery.
- Completes documentation as needed.
