About The Position

Hands of Heartland is seeking dependable and compassionate Job Coaches in Fremont, Nebraska, to support people with developmental disabilities in achieving meaningful employment. The role involves working directly with individuals in a variety of job settings, assisting them at work, and communicating professionally with employers. Job Coaches collaborate with employers to create natural supports, provide job training, and advocate for individuals on work-related issues. Full-time hours are available, with a flexible schedule based on the individual's needs; some evenings and weekends may be required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass all background checks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to change.
• Strong communication skills and understanding of the importance of documentation.
• Desire to support people and encourage them to reach their goals.
• Empathy, patience, understanding, compassion, adaptability, respectfulness, dependability, and sound judgment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required; training is provided.
• An active CNA license or relevant experience may qualify for higher pay.

Benefits
