The Job Coach will ensure all work is carried out in a manner that is both respectful and empowering to families and individuals with disabilities. This role involves establishing and maintaining positive rapport with referring agency personnel to ensure consistent referral numbers. The Job Coach will develop person-centered Employment Plans, provide employment-related preparatory training, and assist with job searches and applications. Once a job seeker is placed, the Job Coach will provide on-site or off-site assistance to ensure the worker understands job tasks, has appropriate accommodations, and sufficient natural support to work independently. This role also includes documenting work, writing and submitting billing reports, referring job seekers for additional expert assistance, and ensuring program productivity by accepting new referrals or coaching 15 hours per week. The Job Coach must alert their supervisor of any case issues or successes promptly and perform other duties as assigned.
