About The Position

The job of Job Coach - Part Time was established for the purpose/s of developing student/client training plans and instruct, train, and orient students regarding job duties and responsibilities; appropriate behavior; job skills and safety throughout the community at the job site.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Training experience in Job Coaching and/or experience with students with disabilities.
Ability to work some holidays, nights and weekends.
Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and access to reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

Communicates with student/client prior to initial placement for the purpose of explaining job expectations and duties.
Conduct various job analysis (e.g. skills requires, tasks, job duties and responsibilities) for the purpose of gauging appropriate placements.
Facilitate relationships between coworkers, employer, employee for the purpose of ensuring positive and supportive communications.
Monitor progress of student/client (e.g. regular on the job visits, logs of strengths, needs, strategies, performance and productivity) for the purpose of ensuring a successful student and placement.
Perform work tasks not completed by student/client for the purpose of ensuring completion of the job.
Report problems and concerns to job coordinator for the purpose of reaching a timely resolution.
Solve student/client related job difficulties at the job site for the purpose of maintaining ongoing student/client success.
Teach student/client self-evaluation methods for the purpose of maintaining a successful placement.
Discuss appropriate grooming with students for the purpose of following established employer dress code.
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
