Job Coach – First Resources Corp. Location: Ottumwa, IA Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Flexible, based on client needs Empower Employment. Support Success. First Resources Corp. is growing and seeking a dedicated and energetic Job Coach to support individuals in achieving meaningful, community-based employment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working one-on-one with people, building relationships with local employers, and helping individuals succeed in the workplace.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in human services or employment support preferred (training provided)
Responsibilities
- Work directly with individuals to support their employment goals
- Provide on-the-job coaching, training, and support
- Build and maintain relationships with employers and community partners
- Monitor progress and implement services as outlined in each individual's plan
- Maintain professional boundaries and advocate for client rights
- Report health and safety concerns and maintain confidentiality
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and attend staff meetings
- Work a flexible schedule based on client needs
