About The Position
OPPO is seeking a part-time Job Coach to help individuals with disabilities build independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging in their communities. This role involves working one-on-one with clients to support them in learning job tasks, developing workplace habits, and achieving success in community-based job settings. The ideal candidate is patient, encouraging, and motivated by seeing others succeed.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- State-required auto insurance
Responsibilities
- Coach and teach job tasks in a supportive, hands-on way
- Break down tasks into simple, achievable steps
- Help build workplace habits and life skills that promote independence
- Encourage confidence, growth, and problem-solving
- Support clients in community-based job settings
- Transport clients as needed
