About The Position
This is a seasonal part-time position requiring a flexible schedule. PA Inclusive is looking to hire job coaches to work one on one with individuals with disabilities, teaching them employment skills and supporting them with hands-on job training at the RailRiders games. The mission of PA Inclusive is to help create and support inclusive and sustainable lives for people with disabilities. This role includes helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism as they begin working at the Rail Riders baseball games.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record.
- Must Pass Child Abuse History and Criminal Record Check Clearances and not be excluded from State of PA Exclusion Lists.
- Position requires effective communication and presentation skills, computer knowledge, strong documentation and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism preferred.
- Transferrable skills in coaching, teaching, mentoring, or similar experiences preferred.
- Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, autism, or mental health disabilities preferred.
- Ability to obtain state and agency required employment certifications including, but not limited to, APSE CESP, ACRE, and/or Discovery.
Responsibilities
- Job coaching client at the job site.
- Submit paperwork timely and accurate.
- Communicate with your supervisor regularly.
- Other duties as assigned.
