About The Position
BCRC, Inc. (Beaver County Rehabilitation Center) is a non-profit agency that provides support to people with intellectual, developmental, psychiatric, and physical disabilities with the goal of increasing independence, securing employment, and enriching relationships through community inclusion. As a part-time Job Coach, you will work in the vocational workshop supporting adults with disabilities as they work towards improving their vocational skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Training participants as they learn new vocational skills to ensure success on the job
- Maintaining quality control and safe work environments
- Working with participants on their individual goals to foster growth and confidence
- Modeling professional work behavior
- Supporting participants in self-directed living as they engage in community activities such as volunteer work, visiting performing art centers, sporting events, museums, gardens/parks and paying work positions
