About The Position

Provide ongoing training support to employees and contractors with documented disabilities to meet or exceed supervisor’s expectations of their position. Essential Functions: Consistently model appropriate work skills. Positively provide enrichment training, support and coaching to participants. Work closely with supervisor or line lead to introduce natural supports, provide prompts and feedback as needed, and ensure staffing ratio Document employee goals and daily activities in Pavillio or required company software. Uphold and consistently follow 245D program and all licensing requirements. Maintain and model positive relationships. Demonstrate knowledge of disabilities of participants and the ability to provide quality service to them in accordance with the employees Support Plan Addendum, IAPP, and SMA. Meet mandatory training requirements. Ensure compliance with work instructions and/or Quality Management System (QMS) procedures. Ensure adherence to all current organizational policies. Functions effectively in a fast paced, diverse, team environment. Maintain highest levels of ethics and confidentiality Maintain a safe work environment for self and others including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Assist in monitoring the bus for employees required to take public transportation to and from work. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and key principles of efficient productivity. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • One year experience delivering supported employment services or direct care services.
  • Ability to read, write, recognize, understand and accomplish new assignments with only general instructions.
  • Consistently demonstrates MDI Core Values.
  • Have or obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Cope with emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner.
  • Able to communicate effectively with program participants.
  • Satisfactory completion of a DHS Background Study and a criminal background check.
  • Verified eligibility for employment in the United States.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license.
