Job Coaches will provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within integrated community employment and may also assist with pre-employment skill development programs. The Home Life Vocational Job Coach is responsible for supporting individuals in a variety of employment-related settings. The Job Coach reports directly to the Vocational Program Manager, while in collaboration with the Lead Job Coach and Job Developer(s). Work as a team with the other Job Coaches in Home Life’s Vocational Program to ensure the best quality and consistency of services are provided. Job Coaches should understand that working hours may fluctuate based on the scheduling needs of the clients. Routinely check When to Work for schedule and updates. Ensure proper documentation of progress, changes to their job duties, overall independence, and any other individual support needs in Therap. Adhere to all policies, rules, and procedures of Home Life and the Vocational Program, while being mindful of different professional guidelines within job assignments. Attend and participate in staff meetings. Must complete Workday DSP and EP Modules; completing JPSCT (Job Placement Service Contract Training) and Discovery training is encouraged.
