The Job Coach provides direct support, training, and guidance to individuals with disabilities in various employment and vocational settings. This role involves assessing individual strengths and challenges, delivering personalized coaching, and promoting skill development to support successful employment outcomes. The Job Coach collaborates with employers, case managers, and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate accommodations, maintain compliance with service plans, and foster inclusive work environments. Responsibilities also include accurate documentation, safety monitoring, and modeling appropriate workplace behavior to help individuals achieve independence and long-term job retention. Support individuals in Tailored Day Services (TDS) with discovering internship and job placement opportunities, providing homework assistance and tutoring, transportation training, pre-employment preparation, and individualized support to help them achieve their personal and vocational goals.
