About The Position
GSM Metals is seeking a detail-oriented Jewelry Inspector to inspect unfinished, semi-finished, and finished jewelry to ensure all products meet quality and customer specifications. The pay is $16 per hour.
Requirements
- Vision must meet 20/20 standard (with or without corrective lenses) and pass annual Jaeger eye test
- Strong hand dexterity with small components
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Nice To Haves
- Inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic math and computer skills
Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections
- Identify and document defects (scratches, nicks, etc.)
- Inspect vendor materials and prepare items for shipment
- Read specifications and use inspection tools
- Record results and follow quality and safety procedures
