About The Position

This position is responsible for sorting, cleaning, and processing jewelry, cosmetics, glasses, and hair accessories. The role involves producing quality jewelry and cosmetics items by cleaning, pricing, and placing them on the sales floor. It also includes keeping counters stocked and neat, rotating stock, and producing seasonal jewelry and cosmetics. The associate will assist donors, maintain accurate donation records, and issue donation receipts. Additionally, the position requires assisting with the security and safety of store property, demonstrating professionalism, and maintaining a friendly, cooperative attitude towards customers, donors, and co-workers. The role demands the ability to multi-task, make quick decisions, and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, with punctuality and dependable attendance being essential. Safe work practices, good housekeeping standards, and clear pathways to fire extinguishers and exits are also required, along with adherence to all policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to respond to telephones, written correspondence, and other auditory and visual stimulation.
Ability to remain calm under stress and have the emotional and physical stamina to deal with a variety of stressful situations.
Ability to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, and walk.
Ability to frequently lift and carry items of at least 40 pounds.
Ability to occasionally climb stairs or inclined surfaces.
Ability to occasionally work outside during night hours and/or inclement weather.
Punctual and dependable attendance.
Must conduct work in a safe manner.
Maintain good housekeeping standards.
Have all aisles and pathways to fire extinguishers, and exits clear from clutter.
Always follow all policies and procedures.
