  • Participating in maintenance/cleanliness of entire store
  • Maintaining floor care cleanliness standards including maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer
  • Processing and prepping merchandise for sales floor
  • Adhering to Front End policy and procedures including ringing sequence and operational controls
  • Balancing register draws and or cash office as required
  • Ensuring ‘go backs’ are properly tagged/hung and promptly returned to the sales floor
  • Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy
  • Adhering and upholding merchandise and signage standards
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  • Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed
  • Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs
  • Adhering to operational and loss prevention controls according to company guidelines and policies
  • Identifying and communicating alert signals and potential safety issues immediately to management/loss prevention to ensure a safe environment
  • Not engaging in pursuit and apprehension of shoplifters

Responsibilities

  • Store Operations Maintains organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for sales floor and participates in maintenance/cleanliness of entire store, e.g. Single Queue, Associate Lounge
  • Maintains floor care cleanliness standards including maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer
  • Processes and preps merchandise for sales floor following Door to Floor and Working Smart principles
  • Adheres to Front End policy and procedures including ringing sequence and operational controls (RIL, Voids, Refunds, etc.)
  • Balances register draws and or cash office as required
  • Ensures ‘go backs’ are properly tagged/hung and promptly returned to the sales floor
  • Merchandising Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy
  • Adheres and upholds merchandise and signage standards
  • Partners with Merchandise Coordinator to create and maintain compelling features, flexing the sales floor as needed
  • Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  • Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed
  • Loss Prevention & Safety Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
  • Adheres to operational and loss prevention controls according to company guidelines and policies
  • Identifies and communicates alert signals and potential safety issues immediately to management/loss prevention to ensure a safe environment
  • Does not engage in pursuit and apprehension of shoplifters
