Requirements

  • Must maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
  • Must maintain floor care cleanliness standards including maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer.
  • Must process and prep merchandise for the sales floor following Door to Floor and Working Smart principles.
  • Must adhere to Front End policy and procedures including ringing sequence and operational controls (RIL, Voids, Refunds, etc.).
  • Must balance register draws and/or cash office as required.
  • Must ensure ‘go backs’ are properly tagged/hung and promptly returned to the sales floor.
  • Must maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy.
  • Must adhere to and uphold merchandise and signage standards.
  • Must partner with Merchandise Coordinator to create and maintain compelling features, flexing the sales floor as needed.
  • Must ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
  • Must initiate and participate in store recovery as needed.
  • Must support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
  • Must adhere to operational and loss prevention controls according to company guidelines and policies.
  • Must identify and communicate alert signals and potential safety issues immediately to management/loss prevention to ensure a safe environment.
  • Must not engage in pursuit and apprehension of shoplifters.
