We're seeking a Jet Vac Truck Operator with a Class A CDL license in Lexington, KY! The Jet Vac Truck Operator uses heavy equipment to install underground utilities to depths of greater than 20 feet. We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license , and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout. The starting pay is $24.00-$27.00 per hour depending on experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in trenchless installation, including Vac Truck operation.
  • A valid driver’s license required with clean motor vehicle report is required.
  • A valid Class A CDL license is required.
  • Comfortable working in outside weather conditions at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull and move up to 75 pounds.
  • Use pneumatic, battery powered or electric tools.
  • Must have ability to wear respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough check-ups and safety sweeps of equipment, notifying the supervisor of any equipment concerns.
  • Become a pro at setting up different trench shoring systems, adding your touch of expertise to every project.
  • Determine the best way to tackle each project, whether it’s handling sewer systems, storm drains, water mains, or force mains (excavation may include high water environments).
  • Follow the lead of your Foreman and Superintendent, using your assigned equipment to tackle tasks efficiently.
  • Keep the lines of communication open and clear with your crew and supervisors.
  • Operate excavator equipment while prioritizing safety and effectiveness.
  • Keep an eye on every step of the operation to maintain our high standards of quality and safety.
