About The Position

The Jet Pump Service Technician installs downhole jet pump equipment on workover rigs, as well as surface skids, vessels, and flow iron. The technician works directly with customer representatives to ensure proper processes are followed when connecting surface equipment. After equipment installation, the technician kicks off wells and maintains surface equipment, including motors, strainer baskets, drives, and PD pumps. The role also includes rebuilding used and rental equipment returned to the shop and troubleshooting problem wells with customer representatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 2 years of hydraulic jet pump experience or experience with triplex or PD pumps.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures in field operations.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical capability to lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow company processes and ensure competencies are implemented.
• Increase product knowledge, both externally and internally, through collaboration with the Sales/Marketing and Account Management teams.
• Install downhole equipment.
• Install surface equipment.
• Rebuild used and rental equipment when it returns to the shop.
• Troubleshoot problem wells with customer representatives and provide solutions.
• Work with customer representatives to ensure proper processes are used when hooking up surface equipment.
• Kick wells off after equipment is installed.
• Maintain surface equipment, including motors, strainer baskets, drives, and PD pumps.
