About The Position

The JCC (Jasper Core Center) is divided into Disassembly, Blasting, and Repair/Final Inspection stations. All positions will utilize basic hand tools, air tools, hoist equipment, and computers. This is a fast-paced environment requiring excellent attention to detail, strong hand dexterity, and problem-solving skills. The Disassembly station involves taking apart entire gas or diesel engine units, including removing timing components, pistons, and heads using basic hand tools like hammers, drills, impacts, and screwdrivers. Positions may be required to lift up to 40lbs.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 40lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approx. 8-10 hours).
• Ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, drills, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
• Standing: Continuously
• Walking: Frequently
• Sitting: None
• Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally.
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally

Responsibilities

• Disassembly of the entire gas or diesel engine unit.
• Removing timing components, pistons, heads, etc.
• Using basic hand tools such as hammer, drill, impact, screwdrivers, etc.
