Requirements

  • 7+ hands-on experience in: - Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture (REST APIs, service decomposition)
  • Experience with: Python, Behave (BDD framework)or similar BDD tools and Git/GitHub workflows
  • Understanding of API testing, integration patterns, and debugging techniques
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Exposure to: GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
  • Building reusable developer utilities or accelerators (skills creation mindset)
  • Experience working in agile environments with strong collaboration across teams

Responsibilities

  • Backend engineer with hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture, along with exposure to BDD-based testing (Python Behave)and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
  • Contribute to API design, integration, and performance optimization across distributed systems
  • Participate in backlog refinement, solution design, and sprint deliverables
  • Collaborate with QA teams to support BDD-based test automation using Python Behave
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, CI/CD practices, and version control (GitHub)
  • Leverage tools like GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality
  • Contribute to problem-solving, defect resolution, and production support as needed
