About The Position

This is a Summer 2027 internship position within one of Tradeweb's Infrastructure teams. The infrastructure team is responsible for building and modernizing the core systems that power Tradeweb Direct’s electronic bond trading platform. This involves moving critical logic into reliable, maintainable Java services and maintaining the health and reliability of those systems. The team collaborates with Bondworks / Portfolio Solutions, Titan, QA, DevOps, and Trade Support teams. Daily work includes building across the stack, modernizing legacy systems, deploying and supporting services, investigating reliability issues, and exploring AI applications.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of modern software languages – C, C++, Java, Python
• Willing to take ownership of his/her work, working both independently and within a small team.
• Detail-oriented.
• A passion for technology.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Java
• Understanding of SQL / relational databases
• Exposure to AI through coursework or projects

Nice To Haves

• A background or interest in building large-scale, real-time, and distributed applications is desired.

Benefits

• The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $35-$75 hourly based on a regular, full-time schedule.
