You will work closely with product owners, architects, security teams, and engineers to deliver high-quality software while maintaining strong ownership across the full software development lifecycle. The role also emphasizes the practical use of AI-assisted engineering tools and agentic development practices to improve delivery efficiency, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while maintaining high standards for quality, security, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.
  • Strong experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
  • Proven experience building secure web applications and designing or consuming REST APIs.
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Gateway, and service-oriented or microservices architectures.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Karma, Cucumber, BDD frameworks, accessibility testing tools, or similar technologies.
  • Experience working with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or comparable database technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, secure software development practices, code quality tools, and deployment automation.
  • Experience using observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, BigQuery, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization technologies including OAuth, SAML, JWT, and modern identity frameworks.
  • Ability to research and implement modern identity and security standards.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar coding assistants.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for code generation, testing, refactoring, troubleshooting, automation, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of agentic workflows, structured prompting, custom instructions, and spec-driven development methodologies.
  • Ability to validate AI-assisted outputs for correctness, security, maintainability, and architectural alignment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, software design, system architecture, application support, deployment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Passwordless Login, FIDO2, WebAuthn, passkey authentication, or modern identity platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with Risk-Based Authentication, risk scoring, device signals, behavioral analysis, and policy-based access controls is preferred.
  • Experience deploying containerized applications on AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Bamboo, SonarQube, Black Duck, Veracode, or similar DevOps and security tooling is preferred.
  • Knowledge of NIST identity standards and secure enterprise environments is desirable.
  • Experience with performance testing, performance engineering, and application optimization is a plus.
  • Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-enabled engineering workflows within enterprise environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex application components and authentication services.
  • Partner with product owners, Scrum teams, architects, and stakeholders to define requirements, estimate work, and deliver solutions on schedule.
  • Design and implement secure authentication experiences using risk signals, telemetry, and policy-based decisioning.
  • Contribute to Passwordless Login, FIDO2, WebAuthn, passkey, and modern identity management initiatives.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs, reusable services, and gateway-based integrations aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Maintain high standards for automated testing, CI/CD, code quality, security scanning, observability, and release readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
  • Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools for implementation, refactoring, unit testing, troubleshooting, scripting, and documentation.
  • Apply agentic and spec-driven development methodologies using structured prompts and technical specifications.
  • Validate AI-generated code, documentation, test cases, and recommendations to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
  • Promote best practices for responsible AI-assisted development and engineering productivity.
