About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Java Microservices Developer with strong expertise in Core Java (Java 17+) and extensive experience developing Spring Boot Microservices. The role involves designing and developing enterprise-grade solutions, contributing to modernization initiatives, and driving continuous improvements in performance, scalability, and reliability. You will also be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting production systems and applying business plans to IT business cases. This position requires a strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices, with a focus on building highly scalable and secure applications on Microsoft Azure.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 17+) including Object-Oriented Programming, Collections Framework, Multithreading and Concurrency, Exception Handling, and JVM Performance Tuning.
  • Extensive experience developing Spring Boot Microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling, including database schema design, tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, SQL performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience designing and developing highly scalable and secure applications and products.
  • Experience developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support mission-critical production environments.
  • Ability to understand business plans and apply that information to the development of an IT business case.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Azure services such as Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Application Insights, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures, messaging technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
