About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Sr. Java Kotlin Developer. This is a Full-time, Contract (W2) position with a duration of 12+ months, located in Minneapolis, MN, with the option to work remotely. As a Sr. Java Kotlin Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications using Java and Kotlin. You will build and support RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise-scale applications, and design and implement microservices-based architectures with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Additionally, you will develop and maintain Kafka producers and consumers for event-driven applications and asynchronous processing, and collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will also analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability and performance.

Requirements

Software development experience with strong expertise in Java and Kotlin.
Experience with messaging platforms, especially Apache Kafka, including producer and consumer implementation.
Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven design patterns.
Experience building, integrating, and supporting REST APIs.
