About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Java/J2EE Developer Lead for a hybrid role with a Global Financial Institution. This 12+ month contract position involves analyzing, designing, and developing enterprise applications within an Agile framework. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining MuleSoft and J2EE-based Integration and API platforms, developing web services using SOAP and REST in a high-volume environment, and collaborating with product partners to integrate new functional requirements.

Requirements

10+ years of development experience in Java/J2EE
5+ years of work experience in an Agile environment, participating in daily routines and story estimation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field
Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL Databases
Working knowledge of GitHub or similar environment
Expertise in complex SQL and query plans

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with enterprise DevOps and monitoring tools
Prior Banking Domain Experience
Experience with AI - Model Development
Knowledge of Application Architecture and Application Security
Experience with Agile tools (Jira)

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, and develop enterprise applications using Agile development methodology
Design, build, and maintain MuleSoft and J2EE based Integration and API platforms
Identify, analyze and develop Integration flows using Mule Connectors, Design Center and API Management
Assist in web services development with associated skills using SOAP, REST and HTTP
Develop and support Java-based enterprise applications
Work closely with product partners to on board new functional requirements in the system
Assist with integration into the MuleSoft platform, set up CI/CD routines, and configure MuleSoft runtimes
Participate in code reviews and daily SCRUM meetings
