About The Position

Apple’s global eBusiness team is seeking a Senior Fullstack Java Engineer to implement innovative, scalable integration solutions across technology stacks and platforms. The role is part of Sales and Operations Engineering within IS&T, which supports Apple’s global operations, sales, and supply chain by connecting sales platforms with operational infrastructure.

The engineer will develop critical enterprise solutions for users and B2B partners, contributing throughout the development lifecycle—from brainstorming and concept through implementation and deployment. The team works in a startup-like, cross-functional environment with user interface designers, business partners, development engineers, architects, and operations. Its focus includes rapid application development, research, innovation, distributed computing applications, data-intensive enterprise architectures, human-centric design, and solutions using emerging AI/ML technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
• At least 3 years of IT experience in web application design and development.
• Strong expertise and deep understanding of Java/J2EE-based web application development.
• Hands-on full-stack development experience using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing responsive, accessible, user-friendly interfaces.
• Hands-on experience providing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with microservices architectures and container-based deployment, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with ReactJS and Angular.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Unix, Oracle, and non-relational databases such as MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Working experience with Agile development methodology.
• Ability to manage projects with on-time delivery.
• Results-oriented approach, ownership, and accountability.
• Ability to communicate quickly and effectively and collaborate with team members.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and scalable enterprise and integration solutions for users and B2B partners.
• Contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from concept and brainstorming through implementation and deployment.
• Design and develop web applications and responsive, accessible, user-friendly interfaces.
• Provide and consume services using RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with user interface designers, business partners, development engineers, architects, operations, and other team members.
• Manage projects to support on-time delivery.
