Java Full Stack Developer
About The Position
Capgemini is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, test, and support application features across frontend and backend components. The role requires strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and full-stack development, as well as proficiency with AI-assisted development tools. The developer will analyze application logs, debug issues, perform root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot problems across application, API, integration, and database layers. U.S.-based resources must be willing and capable of transitioning into L3 production support, including complex incident resolution, defect fixes, and production stability support. Experience with payment systems, reporting applications, JasperReports, or MongoDB is preferred but not mandatory. The position is hybrid in New York, NY.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot.
- Strong experience with Angular and full-stack development.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience with application log analysis, debugging, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Ability and willingness, for U.S.-based resources, to transition into L3 production support.
