Java Full Stack Developer
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to design and build high-performance applications supporting critical financial platforms. This is a hands-on development role requiring strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, SQL, and ReactJS. Candidates must currently be local to the Alpharetta, GA area and available for an in-person interview. Relocation is not available for this position. The Java Full Stack Developer will design, develop, and optimize scalable applications and data-driven solutions within a complex financial technology environment. This role requires strong server-side Java development skills combined with modern frontend development, event-driven architecture, big data technologies, and relational or cloud databases. The developer will collaborate with global quantitative, risk, trading technology, and business teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience
- Strong hands-on Core Java development experience
- Strong experience with Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS
- Experience developing high-performance and scalable enterprise applications
- Experience with multi-threaded application development
- Candidates must currently be local to the Alpharetta, GA area
- Must be available for an in-person interview

Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise applications using Core Java and Spring Boot
- Build high-performance, multi-threaded server-side applications
- Develop scalable services capable of supporting critical financial platforms
- Apply Java development best practices and established coding standards
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
- Design event-driven workflows and data pipelines using Apache Kafka or similar enterprise messaging technologies
- Develop and support data processing solutions using Apache Spark
- Integrate big data environments with relational and cloud-based databases
- Optimize data structures and algorithms for batch and real-time processing
- Develop responsive, component-based user interfaces using ReactJS
- Work with Redux, HTML5, and CSS3 to build modern frontend applications
- Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs
- Design applications for resiliency, fault tolerance, low latency, and horizontal scalability
- Analyze and optimize application performance
- Optimize SQL queries and database interactions
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Collaborate with global quantitative, risk, and trading technology teams
- Participate in Agile development processes
- Mentor team members and promote development best practices
