About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Java Frontend Developer to join our team in Austin, TX. This is a long-term contract position where you will be responsible for developing responsive and interactive web interfaces using Java-based frontend frameworks. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. The role involves participating in agile development processes, maintaining clean code structures, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Java and at least one frontend Java framework (e.g., JSF, Vaadin, GWT )
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Exposure to modern web development best practices
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and interactive web interfaces using Java-based frontend frameworks (e.g., JSF, Vaadin, GWT, or similar)
• Integrate with backend APIs and ensure seamless data flow
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers
• Troubleshoot, test, and optimize code for performance and usability
• Maintain clean, scalable, and reusable code structures
• Participate in agile development processes and daily team standups
