About The Position

This is a 100% on-site Java Developer position in Columbia, SC, requiring the candidate to live in Columbia, SC for the duration of the contract. The position is for up to 12 months, with the option for extension. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions that meet complex business requirements. Experience with various operating systems, network security, and web applications is essential. The developer will also be involved in testing in an Agile/Scrum environment and supporting highly-available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems.

Requirements

• 6+ Years of experience with Java
• 6+ Years of experience with XML
• 6+ Years of experience with Tomcat
• 6+ Years of experience with OpenSource
• 6+ Years of experience with Database Platforms (Mongo)
• 6+ Years of experience with Verbal Communication Skills
• 6+ Years of experience with Written Communication Skills
• 6+ Years of experience with Waterfall
• 6+ Years of experience with UNIX, Windows, Linux, MacOS, Cisco, Juniper, web apps, databases, strong authentication, operating systems and network security protocols and procedures
• Expertise designing, implementing, and supporting Enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements
• Experience with Integration
• Experience with SOA SERVICES (MULE, WSO2, SI, SERVICEMIX)
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent industry experience

Responsibilities

• Design, development and operations experience with highly-available, scalable, and fault tolerant systems
