About The Position

One of our direct client is urgently looking for a Java Developer @ Sunnyvale CA. This is a 6 to 12+ Months contract position. The role involves developing innovation strategies, processes, and best practices, driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects, and supporting the achievement of business objectives. The developer will lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects, including high-level design, and will lead a small group of 3 to 4 engineers for assigned projects. Responsibilities also include end-to-end service implementations, data feeds ingestion, orchestration, and designing/implementing low latency services. The role requires promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Specific technical tasks include building data processing pipelines using Kafka Streams, Cassandra, and Spark for analytical systems, and building and scaling REST reactive webservices for Walmart.com UI using Spring Boot, Java, Spring, and MeghaCache. Troubleshooting business and production issues is also a key part of the role.

Responsibilities
