About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot and REST API design to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications, focusing on integration and digital transformation services. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Java development principles, API design, and database technologies. This position is based in Austin, TX or Dallas, TX.
Requirements
- 3-8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Solid understanding of REST API design principles.
- Experience with HTTP, JSON, REST standards, and API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Spring Data JPA / Hibernate.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
Responsibilities
