Java Developer with Open Search & AWS
About The Position
The AES Group is seeking a Java Developer with Open Search and AWS experience for an onsite role in Sunnyvale, California. The position focuses on Java development and requires strength in at least one of these areas: AWS technologies, search technologies, or big data and distributed systems. The pay rate is $50–$55 per hour. The AES Group is a technology and engineering consulting company that has worked for over 20 years to connect businesses and talent and deliver solutions. It has supported more than 40 business enterprises, including Fortune 500 companies, in customer engagement, employee enablement, and business transformation using cloud, data, AI, engineering, and other emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong experience in at least one of the following areas: AWS (EKS, Step Functions, Lambda, or Infrastructure as Code); search technologies (OpenSearch, Solr, Elasticsearch, or Lucene); or big data, distributed systems, multithreading, and performance tuning.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with Apple projects.
