As an Intermediate II Java Developer at Global Relay, you’ll be using leading edge technologies to build pioneering products that are used by tens of thousands of users globally to solve real world business problems. Requirements

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Java
• Linux
• Network protocols such as HTTP, TLS, TCP
• Web services technology such as REST, JSON, or Thrift
• Agile development methodologies
• Test driven development
• Continuous integration systems
• Multi-threaded programming
• Service oriented architecture

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an agile development team to design and build enterprise scale services using Java
• Write unit tests and integration tests for your code and collaborate with Test to develop test cases
• Develop deployment systems for Java based systems
• Create technical documentation and detail design document
• Collaborate with product owners on user story generation and refinement
• Monitor and support the operation of production systems
• Participate in knowledge sharing activities with colleagues
