Java Developer
About The Position
This is a hands-on technical role at Zifo, a global R&D solutions provider focused on industries like Pharma, Biotech, Manufacturing QC, Medical Devices, specialty chemicals and other research-based organizations. The position is centered on Java development and business analysis within laboratory informatics solutions. The role involves configuring, implementing, and supporting solutions, writing Jira stories, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable tasks. Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on Java development experience
- Experience with business analysis, Jira, and story writing
Nice To Haves
- Laboratory informatics or LIMS experience
- Agilent SLIMS experience
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and support software solutions using Java
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Jira stories and user stories
- Assist in solution design, implementation, and integration within customer environments
- Ensure solutions function as designed and meet customer expectations
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver projects on time
