Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited College/University is preferred. Alternative Path: If the candidate does not possess a relevant four-year degree, an additional four years of relevant work experience will be required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java with hands‑on experience developing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications.
  • Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming, design principles, and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating with external services.
  • Proficiency with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and/or Spring Security).
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL; familiarity with ORM tools (e.g., Hibernate/JPA).
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, including branching and pull‑request workflows.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver high‑quality, maintainable code in a collaborative environment.
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Familiarity with agile methodologies, testing, and debugging
  • Developing APIs per OpenAPI Specification
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure,)
  • Exposure to front‑end technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, or TypeScript.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with API design standards, authentication protocols and security best practices.
  • Experience with performance tuning, profiling, and optimizing applications.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the project planning and development process.
  • Assist or lead in preparing programming specifications and in developing coding logic
  • Design, code, test, and debug software application, independently
  • Maintains highly complex and technical applications and systems
  • Translating business and technical requirements into application architecture
  • Implement and maintain DevSecOps (CI/CD)
  • Performs other job-related tasks as assigned or required to support the duties outlined.
