About The Position

NTT DATA is currently seeking a Java Backend Engineer (Onsite Hybrid) to join their team. This role involves building scalable web applications, working with Java Spring based frameworks, public cloud technologies (preferably Microsoft Azure), and REST API based integration and microservices architecture.

Requirements

• 10+ years of demonstrable experience in full stack Java programming building scalable web applications
• 6+ years of experience with Java Spring based frameworks and libraries preferably Spring boot
• 5+ years of experience working with public Cloud and Cloud based technologies with Microsoft Azure preferred
• 6+ years of experience building and consuming REST API based integration and microservices architecture

Nice To Haves

• Hands on experience working with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or Service Bus
• Building applications working with databases like Oracle, Postgres etc.
• Solid understanding and experience working with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins
• Experience with software application testing approaches and tools like jUnit, Cucumber, Selenium
• Experience with Chaos Testing and other SRE practices for building highly resilient cloud based software applications
• Experience designing and developing applications in microservices architecture

Responsibilities

• Building scalable web applications
