About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. You'll play a crucial role in delivering innovative integration solutions for our Commercial Banking Platforms, utilizing cutting-edge technologies. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in backend development
  • Strong working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
  • Extensive experience with REST APIs and Microservices Architecture design
  • Experience working with databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Messaging Technology (e.g., Kafka, MQ)
  • Proven ability to build containerized applications
  • Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/OpenShift/GCP)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with BPMN technologies (Camunda BPMN)
  • Experience with DMN technologies (Camunda DMN, Drools, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience with front-end technologies (React)
  • Usage experience with AI Code Assistants (GitHub Co-Pilot or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support our business platforms
  • Work collaboratively within an Agile team, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Create containerized applications for deployment on OpenShift
  • Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of backend systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
