About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of our Java-based applications, ensuring they align with business objectives and leverage the latest technologies. You will lead technical design and code reviews, define best practices, and collaborate with various teams to deliver scalable and robust solutions. This is an onsite position located in Las Vegas, NV.

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on Java development experience with a strong architectural background
Proven expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems
Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related Java ecosystems
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

Design and oversee end-to-end Java-based application architectures aligned with business goals
Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, and architectural assessments
Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns for development teams
Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Evaluate and recommend frameworks, tools, and technologies to optimize system performance
Mentor and guide senior and junior developers on architectural principles and Java best practices
Oversee integration of microservices, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructure
