About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Architect to lead our Java architecture and development efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable microservices-based architectures, event-driven integration patterns, and application modernization initiatives. This role involves leveraging AI-assisted development tools and developing enterprise-grade AI Agents. You will also be responsible for automating development processes, engaging with stakeholders, and mentoring engineering teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in Java technologies with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise application development.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing scalable microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, messaging platforms, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Proven experience leading migration and upgrade initiatives involving Java, Spring Boot, Tomcat, frameworks, and third-party dependencies.
• Extensive experience in automation of development, testing, deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and operational processes.
• Hands-on experience leveraging GitHub Copilot or Devin, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and other AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Exposure to designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade AI Agents/Agentic AI solutions using frameworks such as Copilot Studio, LangChain / LangGraph or Google ADK, with a track record of building production-ready agents.
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Apps/Power Platform.
• Proven ability to lead architecture decisions, mentor engineering teams, and engage with business and technology stakeholders.
