This role requires the candidate to perform on client site from one of the following locations, 5 days a week: Birmingham, AL, Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Cleveland, OH or Miamisburg, OH. For this role on this particular client engagement, employer sponsorship of immigration‑related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will not be available.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
  • 1+ years of experience of Rest API development and maintenance using Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of and Experience with Java (API Dev), SpringBoot, Microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins etc.
  • Experience working in Agile and /or Scrum development.
  • Problem solving and/or analytical thinking.
  • Possess ability to manage workload, manage multiple priorities, and manage conflicts with customers/employees/managers, as applicable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge with OpenShift, Kafta will be plus

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications using latest Java concepts in Spring Boot.
  • Design and maintain APIs, services, and different payment sources.
  • Work with API developers across the teams to build new API features at large-scale.
  • Improve API standards and services.
  • Provide technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software.
  • Ensure that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
  • Complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for responding in a timely manner.
  • Researching issues and performing root cause analysis.
  • Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements complex software applications.
