About The Position
Janitorial team members perform general cleaning duties throughout the store, including cleaning restrooms, fitting rooms, breakrooms, and other areas assigned by management. Duties may include sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and gathering trash for removal. Team members report the status of their janitorial workflow and assigned tasks, along with any issues of concern, to store management each day. They are also expected to maintain the company’s customer service standards.
Requirements
- Customer service skills and a commitment to being customer-ready and delivering a world-class experience.
- Desire to learn and adapt to new programs.
- Ability to work well and consult with associates at all levels and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the work shift; frequently bend, squat, and twist; lift up to 50 lbs.; and climb a ladder to reach merchandise or supplies.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning throughout the store, including restrooms, fitting rooms, breakrooms, and other areas assigned by management.
- Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and gather trash for removal.
- Report daily to store management on the status of janitorial duties, assigned tasks, and issues of concern.
