About The Position

The Janitor maintains a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. The role ensures production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces meet cleanliness and safety standards to support efficient operations and employee well-being. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail.
Dependability and good attendance.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to work in an industrial environment with dust, noise, and temperature variation.

Nice To Haves

Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas daily.
Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.
Empty trash and recycling containers and properly dispose of waste.
Clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces.
Dust equipment, ledges, and fixtures.
Maintain cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.
Follow safety guidelines when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
Support special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning and spill response.
Maintain organized janitorial storage areas.
Follow plant safety policies and PPE requirements.
Properly handle and store chemicals.
Remain aware of forklift and equipment traffic in production areas.
