About The Position
The Janitorial/Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of all common areas within the condominium property. This position ensures residents and visitors enjoy a clean, sanitary, and well-maintained environment.
Requirements
- Must live within 30 minutes of the Singer Island area.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize common areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and recreational facilities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean windows, doors, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.
- Perform light maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs or changing air filters, as assigned.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning community rooms for meetings or events.
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from management.
