About The Position

The National Western Center (NWC) is seeking a Janitorial Tech to maintain the cleanliness and supply levels across its 250-acre campus in Denver, Colorado. This role involves managing cleaning equipment, basic maintenance, supervising event janitorial staff, and collaborating on waste diversion initiatives. Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish / English
  • Experience in Arena, Convention, Stadium is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all stocking of supplies in key locations, setting par levels with manager and engaging orders of supplies along with distribution.
  • Handle day to day cleaning as time allows, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and will manage large equipment cleaning and upkeep.
  • Supervise staffing companies used for events to make sure they are staying on task and efficient.
  • Audit staffing companies cleaning, schedules and training to make sure they are meeting standards.
  • Plan, schedule and handle the periodic (monthly, quarterly, annually, etc) deep/maintenance cleaning of venue spaces and assets, in coordination with events.
  • Have operational plans for all cleaning processes and implement them with testing for cleaning standards.
  • Adhere and comply to safety and other governing agency regulations.
  • Track and report any key information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
