About The Position

Modern Maintenance, Inc. is hiring housekeepers in a professional setting. This is a working position that requires cleaning. The shift is Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with a starting wage of $24/hr. A $250 sign-on bonus is offered after 4 months of employment with perfect attendance. Candidates with known food allergies should not apply.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift

Responsibilities

• Supervision of on-site janitorial staff
• Resolving customer issues in a professional and timely manner
• Helping plan and prepare work schedules
• Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment
• Maintaining accurate records
• Working with Area Manager to ensure quality standards are met
• Other job duties as needed
• Empty trash containers
• Clean bathrooms
• Vacuum all carpeted floors
• Dust, mop, and sweep hard floors
• Dust all horizontal surfaces high and low
• Remove fingerprints and marks from glass and stainless-steel surfaces
• Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas
• Notify Area Manager of any problems
• Perform other janitorial duties as required
