About The Position

ABM is hiring a Front Half Night Janitorial Supervisor to supervise and coordinate janitorial staff and ensure cleaning work meets Amazon’s cleanliness and safety standards. The role includes scheduling, training, and performance management; monitoring supplies; conducting quality inspections; responding to urgent requests; maintaining safety compliance; and communicating with facility management. The schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. CST. The listed pay is $24 per hour; the specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.

Requirements

Previous experience in janitorial supervision, facility maintenance, or a related field.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a large warehouse or distribution center environment.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
Ensure cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with Amazon’s cleanliness and safety standards.
Monitor inventory and order cleaning supplies as needed.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality control and address deficiencies.
Train staff on proper cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols.
Respond to urgent cleaning requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, health, and safety guidelines.
Communicate with facility management regarding cleaning needs and improvements.
