About The Position

This is a full-time Janitorial Supervisor position. The role involves overseeing janitorial staff, ensuring cleanliness of various areas within the facility, managing supplies, and maintaining building security. The shifts are early morning, typically from 4 am/5 am to 12 pm/1 pm. The position requires effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Prior janitorial and supervisory experience

Responsibilities

Cleaning all auditoriums prior to opening for business
Ensuring all lobby and hallway areas are properly cleaned prior to opening for business
Ensuring all restrooms are clean and stocked prior to opening for business
Ensuring that janitorial closet area clean, organized and stocked with needed supplies
The training, developing, coaching, scheduling and supervising of janitorial staff
Purchasing and ordering janitorial and other cleaning supplies needed for daily operations, as well as the inventory and auditing processes involved in tracking those supplies
Reporting any facility damage found to the General Manager
Responsible for securing and reporting any found items to management
Maintain building security in keeping doors secured and alarm set and disabled as required (if applicable)
Ensure all non-public areas are secure including arming, disarming and general operation of the alarm system
Abide by all federal and state laws with regards to breaks and/or meal periods
Have knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures
Required to read and understand training materials that will cover subjects such as sexual harassment and discrimination
