About The Position

We support Federal, State, and Local Governments as well as Private Industry by offering skilled personnel throughout a wide-array of technical disciplines. We are looking for a Janitorial Supervisor to support the W.G. "Bill" Hefner VAMC in Salisbury, NC. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of (2) years' experience in supervising in the Environmental/Janitorial Services industry, specifically with Sanitation teams. Detailed knowledge of cleaning procedures and customer service skills is a must. In addition, managing and overseeing the cleaning schedule and requirements. In addition, the applicant must posses a valid Certified Healthcare Environmental Service Professional (CHESP) certification. Applicants must be US citizen and must be able to pass a background check performed by the Federal Government.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in supervising in the Environmental/Janitorial Services industry, specifically with Sanitation teams.

Possess a valid Certified Healthcare Environmental Service Professional (CHESP) certification.
Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

Supervise the work activities of janitorial personnel in a professional environment.
Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding janitorial services and take corrective action.
May purchase janitorial supplies, manage stock level of inventory, train new employees, and recommend dismissals.
