About The Position

The Janitorial Supervisor oversees accounts in an assigned area, ensuring services are performed to established standards and in a timely manner. This role involves meeting with customers, resolving issues, performing quality control checks, and managing cleaning staff schedules. The supervisor is also responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training new cleaning staff, as well as maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies. In situations of staff shortages, the supervisor will perform janitorial duties directly. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of various cleaning methods, effective communication skills, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accounts in assigned area, including meeting with customers, and resolving issues.
• Performs quality control check of service areas.
• Ensures all services are performed to established standards and in a timely manner.
• Coordinates cleaner’s schedules.
• Interviews and hires cleaning staff.
• Provides training to assigned staff.
• Ensures inventories of cleaning supplies in assigned area meet company standards.
• Performs all janitorial duties necessary in instances of staff shortages.
